Lost Baby Picture

I found these pictures on my Mom's camera.  She took them at the Foundations Class we took last winter - a million years ago.  Look at cute baby Tibby!  She was pretty good at the wobble board.  Wow we have learned so much in this last year.

This was the other picture I found.  It's not Tibby - obviously!  I sometimes wonder what happened to the other people/dogs in that class.  Maybe we will see them again some time.

Park Pictures

These are the pictures I took today at the park.  Can you see the white signs along the edge of the beach?  The beach is closed, because of high bacteria counts.  It gets closed every year.  There are too many geese that sleep every night on the beach, so the city closes the beach.

If people avoid the signs, which are written in 3 different languages, then the city puts up an orange fence to block off the whole area.  Why would anyone want to swim in high levels of bacteria?  Yuck!

Hollyhock

I couldn't decide which picture of Tibby with the hollyhocks I liked better.

This is a new hollyhock that I bought last year.  I have 3 different colors of hollyhocks in my yard.

Garden Visiting- Part I

I took these pictures last week when we visited my parent's house. 

This is my mother's garden.  My dad has his own garden - we are a big gardening family :)

Look!  We are in the picture together!

This was such a pretty flower, but I couldn't get the color to come out right.  It was really a deep purple.

My Mom grows the biggest delphinium.  They are so pretty!

Heat

We are in a heat advisory warning for the next 3 days.  It's 96F outside right now.

In other new: I found $10 yesterday while I was walking in to work.  The bill was very faded and dirty, so I think it had been outside/lost for a while.  Maybe it blew in with the 40 mph winds last week.

We have been practicing our homework for both the ST long distance class and also for our non-long distance class.  It's hard to find enough time to practice everything.  I think more than the time it's keeping Tibby interested and her getting full of treats.  I only play/train for short bursts, because I don't want her to get sick of it.  Right now she is asleep on the nice cool tile.  She was very awake this morning at 4:30am, but I was not :)
