Snuggle Time For Us

I made this bed for the pups last week.  Sewed it all by myself!

I think Tibby approves.  Isn't she the prettiest dog?  I'm not sure if it's her cute little nose or the way her marking are shaped, but she is cute!

"Yawn!"

"Sniff, sniff, pee-you!"

Dhali with Tibby's nose in his mouth.  He does this a lot.

And she does this a lot.  Lick, lick, lick.

Lovies.  They are so jealous of each other.  If Dhali is sitting on my lap, which he likes to do all the time.  Tibby will look at him, sit and wait.  Then if he doesn't get down, she will go pick up a toy or bully stick and of course, Dhali will jump down to take it away from her.  Only Dhali is allowed to have toys or bully sticks - apparently!  Then she jumps up into my lap and snuggles in like a rock.  No one is moving her!  Then Dhali sits and barks at her.  Then, eventually, I have 2 dogs in my lap and finally the cat will come and sit on top of the whole pile.  I feel loved - LOL!

Teeth and Only Teeth

Dhali's mouth is crazy right now.  His big canines are growing in and his baby teeth are not falling out!  They refuse to go!  I know that at least one of his back teeth has fallen out, because I stepped on it.  OUCH!  Very sharp.  3 prongs - stuck into my foot.  Ow.

I was complaining about his sharp little canines and now he not only has them he has added 4 more.  omg.  It has to hurt -right?  He doesn't seem to act any different.  Tugs and plays the same.

Cheese!

He also has ONE itty bitty baby tooth in the front that is still hanging on.  Can you see it?  It's a little snaggle tooth on the bottom row, right side.  Right next to his lovely SETS of canines.

And here are Tibby's teeth, just for fun.

Cheese!

Errrr!

Snip! Snap!  Big Teeth!

The Franken Leg Day

The last few days have been busy.  We had a craft/bake sale at work on Friday.  I sold quite a lot of stuff, so yay!  I also bought quite a lot of stuff too.  :P

Here is my little spot in the craft sale.  I didn't have a great spot, but oh, well.  We each had 30 inches to display our things.

Dhali thinks he is a cat now.  He's been able to do this for a few weeks now.  He just jumps.  Straight up and onto the top level.

I stuck him in the middle level, because it was funny and he doesn't care.

Today I took Dhali to an indoor agility trial for some socialization.  He did SO SO GOOD!  I was so happy with him.  It's very relaxing to take him places, because I don't have to be constantly managing the situation.  He sat and did tricks and watched me it the middle of everything going on around him.  He looked at dogs and people without lunging at them.  He saw dogs outside pottying and he didn't lunge at them.  He did not potty the entire time.
Such a strange little guy.  I never had to worry about Tibby pottying.  She goes a lot and goes any where.  Any way, I'm tired after the 5 hour drive and I didn't actually DO anything.  Can's imagine how tired I would be if I actually ran a dog!
One funny thing he did, "There was a man standing next to us and he had a camera with the strap hanging down next to him.  Dhali tried to reach up and grab the strap!  But I caught him just in time.  He's pretty brave!

Now on to the franken leg.......Sooooo I wanted to pluck Dhali's ear hair last night and he didn't want me to.  He hasn't had a good ear plucking yet and he's getting bigger.  It won't get easier, so I drew a line last night - so ear fuzz was getting plucked.  Dhali ended up with one hair-less ear and I ended up with a little bit less skin.  He got my leg really good and little on my arm and one swipe on my face.  The leg is the worst.

Right after it happened.  Ow!  It hurts so much, but doesn't look too bad.

A couple hours later.  Ow!  Still hurts, looking worse.

Today.  Not looking so great and still hurts, but not too much.
Dog scratch fever?  I hope not.

It was a slightly traumatic experience, but apparently didn't do any lasting harm, because Dhali brought me his tug toy afterward and wanted to play for a long time.

Bite Me In The

Trying 4 feet in a smaller box. This has to be the funniest video of the three. Going to a smaller box didn't go quite how I'd planned LOL! Tibby was being super distracting chasing a mouse or ground squirrel in the bushes, but Dhali stayed with me :) I like to release them to play with each other and then call Dhali back out of play, because he wants to play with Tibby and better I should say when it happens then he just decides to run off - which would make me sad. Tibby pretends like she is not interested in training AT ALL and then tries to distract Dhali and get him to play with her. Not helpful Tibby!! And yeah I could put her away, but he has to learn to work with distractions around eventually.

Practicing back up. I don't think Dhali needs the wire chute I made, but it helps me to focus on where he's going. Strange, but before I made the chute we weren't making very much progress, but now I think he's getting it!

Dhali thought it would be fun to bite me in the a**! Really? Perfect timing too little guy *rolling eyes* right before I head out for a Friday night with the girls. I patched it up with duct tape - on the inside of my jeans! And no one even knew it had happened :) Yay for duct tape.

OW

"I bite!"

Dhali has a very interesting style of recall. I call it the Badger recall. He runs at me full speed (I'm kneeling down), jumps at my face with his mouth wide open and bites whatever is sticking out. Like my nose or cheeks or....hopefully not my eye. Tonight he got really close to my right eye. Everything always happens to that stupid eye too. That's the one that was lacerated almost 2 years ago - so, so painful. Only time I have ever gone to the ER as a patient.

I like the recall! I LOVE it! He's fast, happy and having fun. I would just like to not be bleeding or in pain after he recalls!

"I kiss your boo boos. *lick*"
