Packages For Pups

Last year we sent packages to a bunch of different rescues for a few select pups.  This year I got distracted with other things, but Tibby's boarding place, Woof Dah, was collecting things for pups in need, so we sent them a package.

Lots of soft treats and towels.  Hey!  That's what they asked for!
Tibby also had me include a few jingle balls. ;)

This is the inside of the card.
Tibby wrote inside:
Dear Woof Dah Friends,
My Mom said you were collecting things for dogs that don't have their own people.  I love my people, so I felt bad for those dogs.  I'm sending you some treats.  I almost ate them.  They look yummy!  I am also sending some of my favorite jingle balls.  Everyone must love jingle balls, they keep singing, 'Jingle balls, jingle balls, jingle all the way.  O what fun to throw those balls!  Jingle all the way!"
If we didn't live so far away I would get Mom to drive me over (IN MY CAR!!!) to deliver this package in per dogson.  We could play some chase too!  I miss you guys :)
Licks,
Tibby

Packages For Pups

At the end of December Tibby and I boxed up packages for a few special puppies.  We chose puppies that are looking for furever homes.  Our boxes included toys, treats, bones, leashes and money to help pay for their care.
Tibby wasn't the best helper - she stole one of the toys!  I didn't see it until all the boxes were taped and ready to mail, so she got to keep her toy.  It was a hot pink little person-ish shaped soft toy.
~
The puppies we chose for our packages were:

Happy: Golden Retriever, Dog; Hopkins, MN

Archie-Pending Adoption: Tibetan Terrier, Dog; Hartland, WI

Candy: Bearded Collie, Dog; Gaffney, SC

Anya: Tibetan Terrier, Dog; Sherman Oaks, CA

Mia: Tibetan Terrier, Dog; Rancho Palos Verdes, CABebe: Tibetan Terrier, Dog; Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

Don't you want to adopt them ALL!!!

Long Walk - Part I

I went on a long walk with Tibby today.
A friend and her dog, Zoe, came along too.
It was fun!  The pups played and played and then played some more.
We walked for 4 hours!
The whole point was (other than giving the girls a nice walk) to find 5 geocaches.
We searched for 4 and found 2.
I guess we'll just have to go back and find the other 3.

My friend and Zoe looking for the first geocache.

"Can I eat you?"

"Hey!  Were'd she go? I was just kidding!"

"Ha ha!  It's opposite day! I'm gonna eat your ear!"

Zoe's cute little tail.

Go girls! Go!

Tibby.
I really like this pic.

"Let's go!"

"Yeah! Let's go!"

It was such a nice day.  Warm in the 60's with a slight breeze.
Is this Minnesota?

"We are running away!  Hurry up!"

Zoe's tail again.

Zoe's tail a third time!

Zoe!

Two scent hounds.  LOL!

"Here we come!"

Check out Tibby's mustache.
She found some mud.

Zoe, "I'll go across first, 'cause I'm older and braver."
Tibby,  "Your not that much older!"
Zoe, "Yeah, but I'm braver!"

Flying dog ears!

Run Zoe!  There's a lion chasing you!

Tibby looks so evil in this pic. :P

Tibby, "I think I should go back now."

Tibby, "Yeah, I'm outta here!"

Just a Pup Post #1 - HELP!

Awww, so sweet aren't they?
So why do I need a blog just for Tibby, my Tibetan Terrier puppy?
I already have one blog - Dust Bath
Well, I feel like Tibby is taking over MY blog.  Some people might not like dogs.  A few months ago I sure wasn't interested in reading a dog blog.
Now?
I somewhat/mostly/totally obsessed with my puppy.
But....
I still have other things to write about.
It's time for Tibby to get her own blog.
Also,
I NEED HELP!!!
Tibby is tough.  She is tough to train.  A tough to train teen-aged Tibetan TERROR.
I'm hoping, if I post a few things about my training and trials with Tibby, the dog training experts out there might give me a few ideas.
If you still need convincing about the above angelic-looking Tibby see her devilish side BELOW:

Catty and Tibby
They're like this everyday.  Literally at each others throats everyday.  Everyday.
