Lake Ranger

Tibby and I walked on the lake again.  We should have just stayed on the lake, but I wanted to go up a few hills like we did yesterday.  I was trying to get Tibby tired out, because we have our agility class tomorrow.  Anyway, we went onto the shore and the Park Ranger caught me with Tibby off leash.  He was really nice about it, but I felt like an idiot.  He was driving a PT Cruiser and they are (apparently) very quiet cars.  Tibby was a good girl.  The Ranger's car was behind us and I thought Tibby would run at it, because 1-it was a car and 2- it was SILVER (aaaah Tibby's favorite color).  She just stood and waited until I caught up to her and I put on her leash.  The Ranger waited until he saw me put on Tibby's leash and then he waved and drove away.

This is the ice we are walking on.  There is a little snow on top.  Every once in a while I come across some deep cracks - freaks me out!!

Same spot.

Very pretty there. It would freak me out to be walking on top of that ice as well. You just never know.

What a great lake walk! Love the summer, winter photos too! Thanks for coming over and visiting our blog and good luck with your agility. We've been competing for a couple of years now!

Kind of need to get a huge walking place during winter. Definitely does not happen in Georgia. I've been caught by the rangers too! :-)
