Snowstorm's Comin'

Tibby and I (and Catty too! Also, the bunnies) are ready to be snowed in this week-end.  I took Tibby for a long hike this afternoon at the State Park.  I was hoping it would tire her out, but after a quick nap she re-charged and wants to go for another hike.  Maybe tomorrow we can go for a long walk in the snow.
During our walk I practiced recalls with Tibby.  I would call her to me and then play with her collar.  Finally, I would give her a treat and let her run again.  She does pretty well now.  I don't think I'll ever trust her off leash with other people/animals around, but she knows what come means.
I had made plans to go with a friend (Zoe's Mom) to the CPE trial in St. Paul tomorrow, but with the snowstorm of the century predicted to start tonight we decided to stay home.  There will be other trials, I guess *sigh*, but I was really looking forward to seeing some agility!
Oh, well I can just watch Tibby and Catty running around  LOL!  They are very agile!

Drat! Vito, Lance and I are going to be there this weekend and would have loved to see you and Tibby. Maybe make it out on Sunday?!

Wow, send some of that snow my way! It's going to be like 48 tomorrow, so no snow for us any time soon I'm sure. We were supposed to have flurries this coming Monday, but now they've changed that to rain...boo! Anyway, have fun and stay safe.

Laura - Ah that stinks! It would have been so much fun to see you there! I wish I could say yes we'll go on Sunday, but weather wise it's not looking so good.

Elyse - I would send this whole storm to you, if I could! We have enough snow already!

Well the trial was canceled after full house and standard. We're going to start with wildcard tomorrow since it's already set up, but likely won't do jumpers. We just spent 2hrs shoveling everybody out of the parking lot and lots of pushing! Luckily we only live 15minutes from the trial site.

That's too bad. I've been thinking about you guys all morning and wondered what was happening down there. When they announced that the airport was closed and the Metro Transit was stopping service - I thought it must be pretty bad down there.

Tibby, you have a great snow face. Mom says fuzzy faced dogs like us look cute playing in the snow. We still don't have any snow, just a lot of wind.
