Brought Home A New Dog Today

Some of you might be mad at me, but things just weren't working out for me with Tibby.
Sometimes that happens with teenagers.  They are cute as puppies and then they change.
You know what they say, if you love someone let them go and if it's meant to be they will come back to you.
So, I brought this new dog home.
This dog is awesome!
It's lighter, softer and lets me pet it!

The only thing it needs is a coat.

Just kidding!
Tibby's matts were inoperable, so, sadly (cried a few tears) Tibby had to be aggressively groomed.

I'm still getting used to it, but I think I like it.
It's nice to just pet Tibby, instead of constantly trying to comb through Tibby's hair (which she hated) with my fingers whenever I touched her.

I dunno I think I would love her if she were green and hairless!
She's still my baby, just with less hair.

I'm due for the big Aire-cut too. I'm a shaggy mess :(

Still cute! She'll be all grown out in no time. It was a shock for us too when we first groomed Oscar. The blade that we picked for the groomer to use was too short. Oops!

Oh no! Brush thy dog! It's nice that dogs don't care how they look. She does look pretty cute though

I do brush her every night! That's what was so frustrating! One night at Woof Dah and her matts were horrible. I guess that's what I get for having a "nonshedding" breed.

There are many a times that I wanted to give Eva a summer cut but everyone said NO. LOL!!!
I brush Eva every day and sometimes twice a day as she moults a lot lately.
Tibby still looks cute and adorable but it looks so cold there too!

It is the (not so)fun part of loving a TT. Boo (her real name is "Emma") has long hair on her face and head and her tail and the rest is as long as the longest guard on the clippers. About 1 1/2"-2". I love this length and it's good for about 8 weeks. I used to do the same as you - run my fingers through her hair pulling on tangles and matts. Not fun for either of us!
Love your blog and photos! Lee Anna & Boo

Awwww...she still looks adorable. It's amazing how different they look after a major haircut!

I think the fur cut looks cute. Maybe you should just keep her like this all the time and not deal with matts. :)

Yeah I'm really starting to like Tibby's hair cut. Now she can wear clothes!
